13 A Time for This and a Time for That

If I may misquote the Bible, “There is a time for this and a time for that.” And that’s just what we’ve been doing. There is a time for hard-core study, with your nose in an anatomy book or attending lectures and studying animation. And there is a time for quick sketching and gesture drawing — a period of stretching the imagination and loosening up.

In one of the Thursday afternoon drawing classes everyone seemed to loosen up. There was an air of freedom of expression.
