DS command-line interface
The DS command-line interface (CLI) provides a full-function command set that you can use to configure and manage the DS8000 storage system. The DS CLI communicates with the DS8000 storage system through the Hardware Management Console (HMC). Either the primary or secondary HMC console can be used. For detailed information about the DS CLI use and set up, see IBM DS8000 Series Command-Line Interface Users Guide, SC27-8526.
