10.8. Analytical Method (Method B)
The goal of the analytical method, also referred to as Method B, is to provide an alternative technique to demonstrate or quantify the spectral compatibility of a technology with the basis systems. The result of this activity will be the determination of a deployment guideline of a loop transmission technology that would be considered to be spectrally compatible with the basis systems.
There could be numerous reasons for wanting to use the analytical method to determine spectral compatibility as opposed to using the method of signal power limitations, that is, via the SM classes.
