Entries in the following index are arranged alphabetically by
scriptable object properties. You can look up a property to find out
which document objects support it. This listing is a union of
properties defined for objects in Navigator 4, Internet Explorer 4,
and a working draft of the DOM. The same property name may mean
different things for different objects. Be sure to look up the
details of the property listing in Chapter 9, to
find if the property is available for the browser(s) used by your
intended audience and whether it does what you want. Objects shown in
all uppercase letters are objects that reflect HTML elements of the
same name. The following objects reflect specific types of
