Chapter 2. Defining Rich-Media Terms
Naming technology is something of an art form. Who would have thought the iPod would become a household word? In this book, I define many new terms that are also used for Web site production. In this chapter, I’ll try to differentiate the terms for their specific use in PDF in a layman’s way with the hope that you will be able grasp their meanings as I refer to them throughout this book.
