Chapter 8. Why PDF? The Proof Is in the Printing
An interactive PDF offers many benefits over HTML Web pages, but the most obvious is its printing capabilities. I try to point out to prospective clients that Web sites are good for text-based information, but when it comes to graphics and photographs, there really is no comparison; PDF is the best format. In addition, although clients can print individual pages of a site, they can’t print the whole Web site in one shot. But by downloading a version of a site in PDF form, they can print one or all of the pages with one click.
