20. Adding Animation
Animations, transitions, the events, and actions between each screen or click don’t always get the undivided attention they deserve. Historically, designers are pressed for time and have lacked the tools necessary to prototype real interactions. Animated gifs, hand waving, and strings of adjectives are used, instead, to convey the magic of our dynamic experiences. But our best efforts leave a lot to the imagination, which leads to inevitable miscommunication, frustration, and becomes expensive to fix later.
