Geiser's collage films are richly layered and filled with diverse, often clashing and crashing materials. Geiser's work has incorporated stop motion puppets, cut-outs, video footage, live-action, and computer elements along with an array of collage materials, including flat objects (photos, diagrams, fabrics, etc.) three-dimensional objects (plants, old toys, photo albums, cutlery, etc.), and assorted sound collages. The result is an often melancholy and mysterious work that explores themes of memory, language, identity, and history.
