As you learned in Chapter 6, “Working with New Windows Apps,” Modern-style apps are newer apps designed specifically for Windows 8 and 8.1. But lots of older software programs that you might find useful are still available, such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Photoshop Elements, and even Apple’s iTunes. You need to learn how these traditional software programs work.
