Not all communication has to be shared publicly. Facebook also lets you communicate privately with your friends online, via a private message system and via real-time chat sessions.
In fact, you can engage in either text or video chat. Video chat is especially nice if both you and your friend are connected at the same time and have webcams on your computers. It’s just like being there!
