Part 13 Chatting and Sharing Files with iChat
Chatting online is the digital equivalent of hanging out and chatting with your neighbor. Chatting online involves exchanging text messages, files, images, and more over the Internet. You can also chat with video if your Mac has a built-in or connected third-party camera.
To chat, you must first set up an AOL IM, MobileMe, or Gmail account. Then, add as many buddies as you like. Chatting can be encrypted or unencrypted.
