Chapter 6. Formatting Characters and Paragraphs
Formatting a document (improving its appearance) can be a lot of fun, but it can also leave you rather befuddled if you don't understand how the formatting commands work. This part gives you an organized introduction to the techniques you'll use every day to format characters and paragraphs. You start with changing the fonts and font size, applying bold, italic, underline, and so on. You also learn formatting that affects paragraphs, such as setting alignment, adding indents, creating bulleted and numbered lists, and working with custom tabs.
