Chapter 6. Using Alarms, Calculator, and Sound Recorder
Windows 8.1 now includes a number of new apps that use the Start screen’s Modern UI design. This chapter introduces three of these apps: Alarms, Calculator, and Sound Recorder. You will learn how to start these apps and use them for typical tasks.
Using Alarms as an Alarm Clock
The Alarms app has three functions: alarm clock, timer, and stopwatch. In this section, you learn how to start Alarms and use it to set up alarms.
