To begin developing Eclipse extensions using TEA, you will need an Eclipse Workspace with a target platform configured to include TEA. The target platform in Eclipse defines the target environment to compile for. We want to develop components for TEA, thus the Eclipse IDE and TEA have to be defined as our target platform. The easiest way to achieve this is to install a TEA workspace using the Eclipse installer. You can also install TEA into an existing Eclipse installation and use the Running Platform target .
