Experience has shown that (at least in large corporate environments) statistics about TaskChain execution can be extremely handy when looking for issues—or when looking for evidence for every developer’s the-IDE-is-sooo-slow-again rant. TEA includes a smallish built-in statistics support. It’s basically a TaskingLifeCycleListener that posts statistics (if enabled) on @FinishTaskChain to a configured URL.
Statistics also come in very handy when trying to compare different OS’s performance regarding certain operations.
