The Roadmap to a Backcast
Abstract
The analysis presented in our earlier chapter provides us with a roadmap to a potential backcast or postmortem on the factors fueling the events leading up to the financial crisis and the weak economic recovery. It draws a parallel between the S&L crisis and the financial crisis, pointing to several key similarities and differences.
