A framework for architectural design of self-aware adaptive systems (SAAS) is proposed to bridge the gap between requirements and user views and software engineering software architecture. The conceptual architecture consists of components for monitoring events, interpreting events and information then adapting the system or providing information for human in the loop adaptation.
