This chapter affirms the relevance and significant benefits of using the GVV approach in education and professional development relating to the public sector. However, it is argued that, while there are many similarities in the functioning of the private and public sectors, there are fundamental and unique aspects of the public sector that need to be acknowledged in the curriculum development pertaining to this sector.
