Maria Aggestam’s research revolves around such themes as entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, environmental jolts, gender, teaching and learning, and include broad spectrum of entrepreneurship related issues. In addition, she is writing about entrepreneuring processes in various industries such as in art-related industries, high-tech industry, biotechnology, social entrepreneurship and recently entrepreneurs within Swedish gastronomy. Her research is cross-disciplinary, combining perspectives from among the social sciences.
