Beginning of the Year Teacher Reflection Tool
One way to help teachers connect to their purpose and to why they became educators is to integrate reflection at the beginning of the year in your opening meeting. This tool is here to help educators connect their purpose to their professional goals for the year. This tool also can be used with a partner or coach who asks the prompts and then records what they hear. See Chapter 1 for more resources on articulating and exploring your purpose.
