The delegation of authority is a necessary function of an able headmaster. The headmaster should delegate to the members of the staff the supervision and responsibility of various activities, such as conducting examinations, maintaining school cleanliness, organizing morning assemblies, raising funds, running the hostel, organizing scouting, and conducting literary and social programmes.
