I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 10: Moving from Linear Products to Platforms
In the previous chapter, we discussed the ongoing backlog prioritization for features and capabilities in a platform. We understood the difference between backlog prioritization for the linear product and the platform. We also learned about the importance of metrics-driven prioritization and understood how to execute it for a platform. We discussed a new prioritization framework and its implementation. We also discussed some of the common mistakes and challenges that product managers make and face while prioritizing the platform backlog. In the end, we concluded our case study by creating a prioritization framework for the educational content sharing platform Escola.
