Making Changes in Your Company
Now that we’ve defined the Remote Working Test and you’ve considered how your own workplace scores against it, the natural next step is to think about whether there’s an opportunity to bring about change. While some of the actions needed to meet some of the criteria do require a shift in culture and decisions to be made at the higher echelons of a company, the good news is that there’s a lot that can change from the bottom up.
Let’s see how each of the questions in the test can be categorized by what sort of buy-in and approval is required to enact change. We use three different categories for the types of action required:
