“Where’s Ben?”
It’s daily stand-up, and for the second day in a row he’s missing.
“That’s odd. Is he definitely not on vacation this week?”
You check the calendar. There’s nothing in there of note. “Nope, he should be in this week. Has anyone heard from him?”
Sarah puts her hand on her chin and leans toward the camera. You can see lines of text whizzing by in the reflection on her glasses.
“You know what, I don’t think I heard from him yesterday either. He hasn’t said anything in chat since last week.”
You look at recent changes to the codebase. “Hmm, there’s nothing from him in the last five days. Not even a comment on a pull request.” ...
