A new project, a new team to meet, another video call. The grid populates with both new and familiar faces.
“Hey, how’s it going? Nice to meet you.”
“Hello!”
“What’s up?”
The last participant joins the call and the meeting gets underway. Jen, the director of product, kicks it off.
“OK, so I figure that not everyone on this call has met before, given that we’re about to connect together two parts of the product that have always been quite separate to the user.”
You see everyone nodding in unison.
“I thought so. No problem. Let’s take a minute to loop round and have everyone introduce themselves.”
And the chain of introductions begins. ...
