Once a project budget is approved, most organizations want to implement their customer relationship management (CRM) system quickly. Implementation of CRM, however, does not happen overnight and is tactical and methodical in nature. Yet, while firms can speed up the process of software implementation, CRM adoption as a cultural transition is difficult to accelerate. Investment, even in the best technology, is of no worth unless employees feel comfortable with it.
