THE GOAL OF THIS CHAPTER is to integrate the various guidelines we have described for efficient learning environments into a context that is relevant to your work as an instructional professional. We assume basic familiarity with course design processes and will emphasize primarily the specific aspects of planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of training that are most related to management of cognitive load.
