Here’s a rundown of ten manufacturers leading the — okay, I'll just say it outright: These companies are leading the <ahem> race for electric vehicle market share.
What? You didn't think I would say “leading the charge,” did you? Come on — am I the kind of author who squeezes in a lame electricity pun at every opportunity? I mean, I am that kind of author. I’ve just exercised some very Ohm-ish resistance to the temptation in this case.
Boom! That’s the electricity pun I was working toward!
At any rate, these are the companies that, in my view, will make most of the new vehicles created in the years to come. (I’ve added a small amount of conjecture, although the list isn't all that subjective; what's here reflects the current data.)
Tesla
Obviously. It's the world's largest electric vehicle automaker, making about a million vehicles per year before the recent opening of factories in both Berlin and Texas.
