Commercial and Industrial Inspections
OVERVIEW
This chapter covers the types of electrical equipment that appear most commonly in industrial and commercial occupancies, such as motors, heating and air-conditioning equipment, transformers, and capacitors. Although all of these types of equipment (with the possible exception of capacitors) are also frequently used in dwelling units, the equipment installed in dwelling units is generally smaller and less numerous than in commercial and industrial occupancies.
