The microphone changes a voice into a small electric signal. This tiny signal from the microphone is amplified thousands of times before it is released as part of a modulated electromagnetic radio frequency.
A receiver is tuned to “resonate” to that frequency. Harmonics are a wonderful phenomenon. That weak harmonic signal is amplified in both voltage and current before it is directed to the speakers.
