The Splash
The water splash is one of my all-time favorite things to animate. Although there are very clear and definite physics principles at work in every splash, and each splash is somewhat predictable, every splash is also an entirely unique event. And there is always some sort of a unique twist, or anomaly, in every splash. They are as unique as fingerprints, perhaps even more so. The more splashes I see, even after 50 years of observing them closely, the more I see how utterly infinite the variations really are!
