Blending Colors
Where there are several colors in an area of the pattern, you can blend stitches to create color gradients. When blending colors in smaller parts of a pattern where there are two colors, you can create a stripe-like effect by alternating the colors of your stitches with rows of teeny stitches, like in the hummingbird pattern on this page.
