Abstract

The emergence of nanotechnology has revolutionized drug delivery research. Nanocarriers manufactured from diverse polymers exhibit unique properties that enable the delivery of complex therapeutic agents. Utilization of novel biocompatible polymers and devices requires a comprehensive understanding of both biochemical and physiological barriers and is primarily focused on improved therapeutic efficacy and reduced toxicity.
