Plants are exposed to a wide array of biotic and abiotic stresses. To cope with these stresses, plants exhibit an integrated molecular response that may eventually result in their adaptation and/or acclimation to the stresses. In the past two decades, miRNAs have emerged as a key player in translational, transcriptional, and post-transcriptional regulation of plant genes important for plant responses to different stresses.
