In the previous chapters, we discussed elements of triggers, raw spots, and emotions. We will now turn to the process of interaction, and by doing so, it will help you gain a deeper understanding of the negative cycles that are responsible for conflicts and disconnections. We often believe we can steer our thoughts. But, most of the time, in times of stress, it is our emotions that are in control of our thoughts—and consequently of our actions.
