We’ve likely never met in person or virtually, so it may seem unusual for this final chapter to begin with such a personal and direct petition. It may even seem out of place in an ATD professional series. However, our use of emotional intelligence transcends formality. It trumps all the tips, tricks, and processes that we’ve been taught as we’ve grown in our talent development careers. It’s not that the technical components of our work are unimportant.
