Keep a Practice Hoop Handy
When I’m stitching a project, I like to keep a small hoop handy with the same base fabric I’m using for my final embroidery. I can test out stitches and colors to see how they look on the fabric color. It’s also an opportunity to get messy, try new stitches, or practice stitches you haven’t used in a while.
