As part of an exercise at a networking dinner with a group of women in finance back in 2017, we went around and spoke about our mothers’ careers. Coincidently or not, we realized that all 30 of us had strong, hardworking mothers. This was really new information for me, as I wasn’t a mom yet, but it stuck with me for years.
