Introduction

In the previous chapter, we outlined the procedures needed to plan and budget for the development of a serious game. If you follow those procedures and the ones in the chapter on team building, you can enter your project with a great chance of success. then all you have to do is manage the project effectively, and you can’t fail, right?

Okay, a little luck wouldn’t hurt either, and maybe you’ve always been extremely lucky, so much so that you start to factor luck into the equation. Maybe people have always had such high hopes for you, and you for yourself, that you start to figure that you can’t fail. Those last two perceptions are not elements in the formula for success.
