Chapter 14. Fundamentals of 3D Drawing
14-1 Introduction
This chapter introduces the fundamental concepts needed to produce 3D drawings in AutoCAD by using the 3D Modeling tools with acad3D and acadiso 3D templates. The chapter shows how to change viewpoints and how to create, save, and work with user-defined coordinate systems called user coordinate systems, or UCSs.
The chapter demonstrates how to use both the Viewports and Coordinates panels. It also shows how to create orthographic views from given 3D objects by using the View panel tools.
