Keep Your Reader in Mind

Grammar and style are important; we offered our short list of rules and suggestions in Chapter 5. Here we consider the content of your writing, and urge you to always keep the reader in mind. Make it a goal to ease the burden on the audience. Care invested in a document will be appreciated.

Proofread every sentence. Revise, revise, revise.

Put yourself in the position of the target reader, and read.
