Chapter 1. Import Video

Welcome! With this book, you’ll learn the essential skills you’ll need to add Flash Video to a Web site created with Dreamweaver.

Our project begins with importing a QuickTime (or Windows Media) movie into the Flash Video Encoder. Here we will edit the video, fine-tune the audio track, and then encode the movie as a Flash Video.

In this chapter, we’ll start working with our video in Flash Video Encoder. We’ll import a movie, define how we want to export the video, and also explore the Flash Video Encoder environment.
