We wrote this book with a mission in mind. We believe that there is a paucity of documentation about digital technology accessibility. There are great international technical standards coming from the Web Accessibility Initiative and that’s where the documentation ends. Successful digital accessibility occurs through process and policy, not just a set of technical standards, and therefore, it is necessary to understand the entire context and the entire process.
