Introduction

The evaluation methods described in Chapter 8 need to be used to understand whether specific interfaces and technologies are accessible, but the policies and processes in place for compliance monitoring will specify when those evaluations are performed, which evaluation methods are used, who performs those evaluations, and what criteria for violations are used. The compliance monitoring policies also will specify, if violations are discovered, what actions are taken and how the information is presented and shared.
