Introduction
This chapter provides multiple real-world case studies of success in ensuring information technology (IT) accessibility. These successes are in companies that manufacture hardware, companies that develop software, and government agencies, public libraries, and universities. Previously published examples and new case studies are included. Highlighting case studies of success is important because companies, educational institutions, software and hardware developers, and government agencies often aren’t aware of what is possible when it comes to IT accessibility.
