So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 5. Design to Deployment
Taking an AJAX application from design to deployment is not unlike a traditional web application, except we want to manage some of the additional complexity that comes from building a rich user interface and AJAX architecture.
When designing enterprise-class software, you need to do some planning of the project to chart the course from inception to deployment to ensure, among other things, that you have the resources that you need, the time required to complete the project and manage your risk appropriately, and avoided irreversible errors in the overall design.
