Building the EBI/EDW Program’s Initial Project Portfolio
Abstract
An enterprise business intelligence and data warehousing (EBI/EDW) initiative is typically composed of a portfolio of underlying projects, with those projects closely managed as an overall program. This chapter describes several alternatives for constructing the project portfolio along with a recommended approach, and then discusses the next set of planning activities – including initial budgeting – that will occur.
