Appendix A. Installing Products and Examples from the CDs

The case study and all other examples referenced in this book are delivered on CD #3 within the examples.zip file. The examples are packaged as WSAD projects within this zip file. Each project will need to be imported into WSAD. We do not provide the source code in another format; since the purpose of this book is to teach you to use WSAD and the other WebSphere tools, we encourage you to try these projects out in that environment.

We expect that most of you install WSAD, DB2 and WAS from the included CDs that come with this book. If you already have copies of WSAD 5.01, WAS 5.02 and DB2 Universal Database 8.1.2 on your machine, you can skip the next section and move on to the section on ...
