16.6. File Sharing Security in OS X Server

File Sharing is more mature in Mac OS X Server than in Mac OS X Client, and thus has a more unified security context across services. For example, to view all the shared folders on a system, first open Server Admin, and click the name of the server in the Servers list. From here, click the File Sharing button in the Server Admin toolbar, and you will see a list of the logical volumes that your server can see along with a handy disk space image showing how full the various volumes are (see Figure 16-27). At this point, you can click share points to see which folders are currently being shared over SMB, AFP, NFS, or FTP.
