Chapter 7. JMS Implementation Scenarios

In the previous chapters, we explored messaging concepts and patterns, reviewed the JMS specification, detailed its use, and examined IBM JMS Provider implementations. In this chapter, we put the knowledge to use by implementing a number of JMS scenarios. We do this using a hands-on tutorial approach, which walks you through implementing the scenario to create a functional prototype. As you might expect, the scenarios are designed so that we can explore areas of general interest, and they illustrate useful implementation approaches.
